Description
The Bodega x Nike Dunk High “Legend” is a Winter 2020 collaboration between the Boston area sneaker boutique and Nike on the all-time classic high-top shoe. Aside from the “Legend’s” baseball glove-like design, the Americana based colorway is a metaphor for Bodega’s mission to “recapture the mystique and feeling of discovery that once accompanied every great special edition sneaker.” The “Legend” accomplishes that. Various cuts of premium leather arranged to look like the soft leather found on baseballs, baseball mitts, or even a saddle or pair of well-worn boots appear on the collar, mid-panel, and toe. Rawhide lacing appears between the mid-panel and heel and on the collar and heel. A jeweled tortoiseshell Swoosh can be found on either side of the shoe. Black waxed shoelaces sit on top of a buttery tonal leather tongue. Release date: December 30, 2020.
